Flora Moynihan is a Cuban-born artist and sailor. She sails with husband Larry (Captain Larry) and ship's cat Ruby on their Mason 33, LUNATIC II.
Flora loves to cruise, visiting new places, enjoying the local sites, meeting people at every stop. Her love of nature, color, and texture leads her to constantly capture the world around her in water-media, fiberarts, and printmaking. All of her works generated on board are signed and stamped with her "Arts Afloat" logo.
Recent solo shows center around her passions: the sea (Arts Afloat: the Maine Coast) and her travels (China Odyssey). Now Flora has begun making and marketing jewelry, also influenced by her passions.
